Carved Landscapes

Carefully building layers, then carving those layers away to reveal the inner depths of the first stages of their artistic process is a skill both Christopher Bibby and Don Hoskisson have mastered. Bibby a new artist at ART Elements, is an oil and cold wax painter. Bibby creates vibrant stratas and patterns of agricultural elements in his new series of his landscapes depicting rural Oregon and it’s vineyards.

Don Hoskisson, a ceramicist, builds vessels with hand carved intricate and repetitive embellishments that are distinctly Don’s aesthetic that he has developed during his long standing career as a ceramic artist.
