Kristy Lombard

Ceramicist

Kristy Lombard began her ceramics experience in 1996 while attending David Douglas High School. After graduating she moved on to attend the University of Oregon in Eugene, and in June 2003 she received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree as well as the David McCosh Memorial Scholarship. Kristy has had her work in several galleries including: Davis & Cline in Ashland, Oregon, Charlie Cummings Gallery in Fort Wayne, Indiana, as well as The Museum of Contemporary Craft in Portland, Oregon. She is a current member of The Oregon Potters' Association (OPA), her local clay guild, and has participated in the OPA Ceramic Showcase for several years. Currently Kristy resides in Portland, Oregon, and has been the exclusive instructor for Georgies Ceramic & Clay Co. since 2004. She is responsible for the curriculum of multiple adult hand building and wheel thrown pottery classes. Aside from teaching, Kristy frequently works out of her own studio, actively designing, producing and selling her unique work both locally and beyond.
