There are multiple segments that flip out and spin around as the kinetic sculpture moves. The sculpture needs to be mounted on a minimum area of 37.5" tall x 37.5" wide to spin freely.

Wall mounted system of stone weighted pendulums. The largest rotates about a hub in the center of the mounting plate. This pendulum has a stone weight at one end and its other end supports the axle of the third pendulum. That pendulum has stone weights at each end of its shaft. Each of the first two pendulums have a moveable stainless weight between their axle and stone weight. Once set in motion by the observer, energy of the moving elements cycles between kinetic and potential forms and is transferred between the pendulums. Since their periods of motion are not equal, there is an interesting pattern of motion as one catches up to then passes the other. The moveable weights can be used to alter the frequencies of the pendulums. Doing so changes the pattern of motion of the sculpture. The motion pattern is also dependent on the initial conditions angle and angular velocity as the observer sets the piece into motion.
