"This work began being created in the hotel lobby in Tarifa, Spain where we stopped for an afternoon coffee. The rest of it was largely rendered while traveling on a bus throughout Morocco. While we traveled in Morocco, I was struck by all the stray dogs. Particularly, they would sit by the side of the road and wait for travelers to stop and feed them. As a vehicle approached, they would stand up and wag their tail and then sit back down when the cars passed by. As a dog lover, a bit heart breaking. So you'll notice in this image that behind the walking figure, there is a path, along which are waiting dogs."
