For those lucky enough to experience summer in Oregon, this show explores the collective daydream that these landscapes inspire and the lasting impressions that they leave in our memories. Through her expressive use of color and light, Molly Reeves opens a window into the power of memory, capturing a shared emotional truth, while Don Bishop’s impressionistic inspired style further defines that truth in the curves and movement of our Oregon Landscapes. Additionally, Don Sprague does not depict landscapes directly, but the refined surfaces and rich glazes of his vessels reflect the tones and textures of the surrounding environment.
