Salvaged Wood from Eagle Creek Wildfire

This bowl’s form is reminiscent of the many species of lily native to the Columbia Gorge. A salvor left an entire root burl from the Eagle Creek Fire in my driveway in the fall of 2018, over a year after the fire, another of many acts that inspired this project.
